Portfolio Redesign

As a developer, your portfolio is your digital business card. I wanted to create something that not only showcases my work but also demonstrates my attention to detail and design sensibility.

The challenge was balancing aesthetic appeal with performance, implementing smooth animations without compromising load times, and creating a bilingual system that felt natural in both languages.

I implemented a custom language context with persistent preferences, scroll-triggered animations using Intersection Observer for performance, and a carefully crafted color system that works in both light and dark contexts.

The design follows a 'less is more' philosophy with generous whitespace, thoughtful typography hierarchy, and subtle micro-interactions that delight without distracting. The horizontal project scroll creates a memorable browsing experience.

Building my own portfolio reinforced the importance of treating personal projects with the same care as client work. I also learned valuable lessons about animation performance and the art of restraint in design.
